Pier Vincenzo Piazza , CEO of AELIS FARMA has been awarded with the distinguished Merit Medal of the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine by the Governor of the region, Alain Rousset.
This recognition reflects Piervi Piazza remarkable contribution to the development of the academic and biotech landscapes in the Région. Piervi has been the founder (2007) and director of the Magendie Neurocenter and then the coordinator of the Neurocampus project, inaugurated in 2017, developing one of the largest facilities in Neuroscience in Europe.
Piervi has also founded Aelis Farma and build the company from ground up with a successful IPO in 2022, making of Aelis Farma the first publicly traded biotech in Aquitaine.
